Our Team

“Children are effectively supported by well qualified staff who regularly praise them. As a result, children are happy, settled and well behaved”
Gigglers Ofsted Report 2015

At Gigglers Day Nursery, we know that the people caring for your children are the most important tools in supporting their development. We value the trust a parent has with us when they leave their child in to our care each day, therefore the management team at Gigglers ensure that we maintain a strong staff ethos that sustains high quality practice.

The staff team consists of numerous level 4 and 3 qualified staff who are Key people to individual children. We also have two students who are working towards their NVQ Level 3 in childcare. To ensure that high quality practise is delivered but without compromise, we have additional staff who are not included in the adult to child ratios.

We are confident in our practice and believe that it is of a high standard to share with students. We mentor and guide students from college and local schools as they complete their qualifications. We are committed to supporting and nurturing students in their learning as these students will be the next childcare practitioners who will take on the responsibility of supporting future generations of children’s development.

All our staff and students go through a strong induction process and Gigglers Day Nursery has a strong safe recruitment policy in place. As part of the induction staff go through essential training such as First Aid and safeguarding. All staff and volunteers go through an advance DBS check.
